Terms of Service

Appointments & booking

All appointments are booked through our online booking system powered by Square Appointments. By completing a booking you confirm that:

• The information you provide is accurate and up to date
• You are 18 years of age or older, or have parental consent
• You understand that a valid card on file is required to secure your appointment
• You will not be charged simply for booking — your card is held to protect against late cancellations and no-shows

Cancellations & rescheduling

We understand that life happens. We simply ask for reasonable notice so we can offer your spot to another client.

• Cancellations or reschedules made at least 24 hours before your appointment are always free of charge
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee
• No-shows without notice may be charged the full service amount
• Repeat last-minute cancellations may result in being required to prepay future bookings

Late arrivals

We want to give every client the full attention and time they deserve. Out of respect for back-to-back appointments:

• Please arrive on time or a few minutes early for your appointment
• Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and could be treated as a late cancellation
• If you are running behind please reach out as soon as possible so we can do our best to accommodate you

Payments

All payments are processed securely through Square. We accept all major credit and debit cards. By providing your card details you authorize Polished by Melanie to charge applicable fees including service costs, cancellation fees, and no-show fees where applicable.

Health & safety

Your health and safety are our top priority. Please let us know before your appointment if you have any of the following:

• Skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities that may affect your service
• Any infections, open wounds, or nail conditions in the area being treated
• Any medical conditions that may be relevant to your treatment

We reserve the right to decline or modify a service if proceeding could cause harm to you or others.

Service results

We take great pride in our work and will always do our best to deliver beautiful, lasting results. However, individual results may vary based on factors including nail health, lifestyle, and aftercare. We are happy to address any concerns within 48 hours of your appointment.

Photos & social media

We love sharing our work. By booking with us you grant Polished by Melanie permission to photograph your nails and share images on our website and social media channels. If you prefer your photos not be shared please let us know before your appointment and we will always respect that request.
